Lead me to the towering rock of safety, 3     for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. 4 Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!   Monday the 20th of October was the 100th anniversary of my mother’s birth.  She was born in 1914 in Colorado to a wheat rancher and former one-room-schoolhouse teacher.   Mom went to be with the Lord back in 2001, but I still miss her so much.  She was one of the most dedicated women of God I’ve ever known.  She knew her Bible better than many preachers I’ve met.  I can remember waking up early in the mornings and seeing the light at the end of the hall, knowing that Mom was up at her desk with her Bible open wrestling with some passage or an insight...
